In recent news, Kawhi Leonard is planning to return back to playing basketball in San Antonio sometime in March, after missing quite some time with the team. Leonard was originally sidelined due to injury in late September last year, which kept him out of play until mid-December. This is where things begin to get interesting with the All-Star forward. In Sunday’s NBA action, the Cleveland Cavaliers were able to pull off an upset victory over the Boston Celtics in what was supposed to be a big night for one of Boston’s own, Paul Pierce. The story of the night was that the Celtics were retiring “The Truth’s” (Pierce’s) jersey, and in doing so dedicating the night to him. However, Lebron James and company managed to steal the show with a 121-99 win. (more…)

Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a giant internet sport (e-sport) that has had teams competing against one another for eighteen years. Over the years, the competitive scene for this simple video game where people try to eliminate each other has exploded. The game is user-friendly and this has allowed CS:GO to break the record for most views for a streaming platform twice and also have prize pools for the elite players to be in the millions. (more…)

In recent news, a lot of injuries have been occurring in the NBA, with one of the more notable ones involving starting point guard of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Derrick Rose. Rose went down a couple weeks ago with a high ankle sprain, and hasn’t returned to the court since. That’s because during his absence he’s been contemplating giving up basketball and hanging up the jersey. (more…)

We are approaching week six of the NFL’s (National Football League) regular season, and some big news just hit the media.
Star running-back Ezekiel Elliott, of the Dallas Cowboys, had his suspension reinstated which will now put him out of play for a total of six weeks. At this point in the season, the timing could not be any worse for him or the Dallas Cowboys. The regular season only lasts 15 weeks, and since it’s week six, Elliott is looking at potentially returning to the field at some point during week 12. At this point in the season, it’s almost useless for him to make a return. (more…)
