The 4th Annual Vintage Holiday Market will be hosted on November 9-11 in Forest, VA.

According to the New in Lynchburg website, “Join us for our 4th annual Vintage & Handmade Holiday Market November 9-11 at The White Brick House. FREE ADMISSION. Food truck by Uprooted (Saturday and Sunday, 11-3) & Katie’s Sweet Treats.”

The owner of The White Brick House, Peggy Breiholz, said, “This is our 4th year doing our Vintage Holiday Market.  I think this event does bring our community together and specifically, it brings people from the surrounding Lynchburg area out to Forest.  It helps bring business to our community and lets people know that there are some wonderful shopping and dining opportunities in Forest. It also spreads Christmas cheer in our shoppers and kicks off the holiday season.”

Breiholz said, “We close on Thursday, the day before our Holiday Market, and all of our vendors decorate their spaces for Christmas and bring in all of the Christmas items they have been collecting over the past year. They also stock many handcrafted items that they have made specifically for this event. Some of the handcrafted items are farmhouse signs, ornaments, wreaths, soaps, jewelry and trees.  Of course, we will also have all the vintage things too! Vintage ornaments, vintage painted furniture, galvanized tubs and buckets for your Christmas trees, and sleds are some of the vintage things we will have for decorating your home and for gift giving this Holiday Season. Of course, we also have gift certificates available if you just can not decide what to get someone!”

The Uprooted food truck will be at the Holiday Market on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. each day.  Katie’s Sweet Treats will be at the Holiday Market all 3 days serving cinnamon rolls and cupcakes.

Breiholz added, “On our Facebook page, Facebook.com/thewhitebrickhouse, we are giving away two $100 gift certificates to two lucky winners!  People can follow us on Facebook and on Instagram @thewhitebrickhouse.”

She also said, “This event is a celebration for us. It’s like a party! We actually work all year hunting, gathering, and crafting the awesome vintage and handmade treasures for this event.  We love to see our wonderful customers come out for this event and find the special things that will help make their holiday season beautiful.”
