The playoffs are over, and Super Bowl LII is only two weeks away. Soon enough, America will crown the new world champs; will it be the New England Patriots or the Philadelphia Eagles? Both teams have worked hard all year, and now it comes down to this. Only one dominant team can prevail, and the country is waiting for its victor.

The Patriots are no stranger to the Super Bowl, as they’ve been there multiple times. Their quarterback, arguably the best guy out there, Tom Brady holds the NFL record for most appearances with a total of six. Mastermind head coach Bill Belichick has taken his team eight times, and both Brady and Belichick have won five of them, including the wild 25 – point comeback victory last year over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. That game also set a record for largest comeback in Super Bowl history and caused the game to go into overtime, thanks to the Pats. It’s no question that these guys have done it all, and they are looking to add to their resume with a sixth Super Bowl victory.

However, the Eagles are no stranger to competition after Sunday’s victory over the Minnesota Vikings. In what should’ve been a game of the defenses, the Eagles tore the Vikings up, leaving them with only one touchdown on the board, as they put up 38 points to move on to the grandest stage of them all. This year Philly’s squad has been on a tear, winning 13 games while only losing three, and their defense ranked among the best. This young team is hungry for a world title, and it doesn’t seem like they are going to stop until they get it.

Back in 2004, these two teams met in Super Bowl XXXIX and Brady, along with Belichick, led the Patriots to a victory. Now, 14 years later, America gets to see a Super Bowl XXXIX rematch in Super Bowl LII. Can the Eagles end the drought, and finally bring home their first world title or will Brady and Belichick do what they do best, and hold up their sixth championship? In two weeks, we will have our answer.
