The Hill City Handmade will be hosting its Holiday Market this Saturday, Nov. 4. The event is being held at the Urban Arts Garage located in Downtown Lynchburg at 1001 Commerce Street. Doors open for Early Bird ticket holders at 9 a.m. and to the public at 11 a.m., and the event will wrap up at 5 p.m.
The Holiday Market will feature local and regional makers, food trucks, mini-maker workshops and free photo booths.
The Hill City Handmade was founded by Faith Jones in an attempt to “create a space where consumers can shop, eat and create locally.” The goal of the event group is to promote local Lynchburg businesses and provide a location where customers can know they are shopping local. Hill City Handmade hosts many events throughout the year.

Vendors at this event will include those selling jewelry, fashion items, vintage and repurposed products, signs and ceramic pieces.
All ticket sales will benefit Mission Empowerment.
Mission Empowerment is “a non-profit Christian community service organization founded by Alfred L. Jones III in 1990,” according to Hill City Handmade’s webpage. The organization runs solely on “church and community funding.”
Early bird tickets can be purchased at thehillcityhandmade.com for $10 while regular tickets are $3.
