Lynchburg Parks and Recreation will host the annual Holiday Cheer event at the Miller Center on Friday, Nov. 18 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is open to the public at a complimentary admission and includes activities for people of all ages.
The evening will feature vendors, music and crafting, as well as holiday food tastings and demonstrations.
Some of the vendors participating in Holiday Cheer are Stitchin’ with Pizzaz, Shirley’s Handmade Goods and Anne Olson Wood Carver. The musical stylings of local artist Alan Little will be spotlighted, in addition to holiday food tastings and demonstrations by Grains of Sense.
Attendees can make specialty holiday crafts such as handmade cards, mesh ribbon holiday wreaths and slate paintings. The event will conclude with a tree lighting ceremony in Miller Park.
