The second point came from number 22 Nicole Simpao, a junior midfielder. She shot the ball, and it bounced off of the corner and went into the goal.  During the second half of the game, the points started going up on the score board.

Hannah Krause, a junior defender, scored when she shot the ball and it hit the corner. Simpao was the player who was in control and who scored three more points during the second half. She came out as the top scorer of the night with four total points.

There were only a few play cards thrown during the game, all of which were green. LC came out with one green card, while Virginia Wesleyan came out with three.
