Before break we left off discussing who a modern witch is and the tools that are used, now we focus on what witches believe in.
To begin with, witches believe in the spirit world and reincarnation.
The spirit world is the ultimate goal for every witch. To be guided there by other spirits to make our final home. That is not to say we do not wish to live first or live again.
There are certain reasons why one would want to be reincarnated. There are three general reasons: you wish to relive life as a better person, to experience different emotions than your past life or to eventually be with the Divine Power.
Some witches also see reincarnation as relaxing to the soul. Generally people who view reincarnation as relaxing are the ones people refer to as old souls.
How I view light and darkness, two sides to one person.
With witches, there is light and there is darkness. With both comes karma, what comes around goes around.
With darkness there is temptation that exists to draw us in and take us down dark paths.
With light, there are guides that will lead us home. Every witch has a guide, some part of them that is always present and wishing to help us.
I have never seen my guide. But I know they are there. In the darkest times the guide is there to bring you back into the light and continue down your path.
Take the time to learn what your path is. Learn how to follow your guide. But remember, that you are allowed to believe in whoever or whatever you want as long as you are following the light to your end goal.
